Yea and i don’t really see why. I mean it is just boring when u compare it to games like infamous,Fallout and Kingdom hearts 2.
this is called not having a life. I mean. I play WoW a couple hours a day, but its summer and i have nothing to do. But still, he has some real issues.

Whýýý are you all comparing single player games with a MMORPG, with a single player they can focus alot more on things because they don’t have to get servers going, patching alot inventing more and more new things. I’m not saying that some of these things aren’t done in single player games but I do believe that an MMORPG is’nt comparable with an offline single player game.
What’s boring about blowing up a guy’s head of in slow motion? and the mini nuke luncher kicks ass. Besides it’s not just the combat but the moral choices and diffrent ways to develop your charecter.
(another thing world of warcraft dose’nt have)

Yea MMOPRGs are’nt perfected(yet) so i really don’t see how u can get addicted to them when single player games are so much more polished.

lol a couple of the people I used to play with, a dude from Australia and a Girl from US just hooked up and got married in Vegas lol, tons of people meet IRL on WoW and stay together, which isn’t my thing but hey whatever floats your boat.
I always hear about how it’s “addictive”, which in my opinion isn’t true, it’s just a huge, and i mean HUGE time sink lol especially for people who always want to be the best at what they play. like me lol. To me there is no such thing as an addiction unless it’s a chemical one. Everything else is all about will.
I’m like that kid but not on as long… That mom and reporter are both idiots, the mom because she doesn’t have the courage to get off the fucking computer. And the reporter because he’s like “This is an illness!” and because he thinks WoW is violent, he must have never seen grand theft auto…
well over the years its becoming easier to quit wow..i mean the game is literally a joke right now,with no challenging instances and with fairly NONE new exciting additions….it resembles rotten food.After the release of the poor WOTLK it became like a walk in the park for me to get unhooked ,im quite amazed how millions of people keep playing this idiocy it has become

i agree, i dont view it as an illness i just see it a time to pass time, i mean would you rather have somebody spend mindless hours just watching TV? what if you dont really have anything else to do? then your just sitting around with nothing to do. the game isnt an addiction its just somethign for your to do and since it never ends you can use that time more and more and more with the game. Doesnt mean your addicted just means its fun
