World of Warcraft is no doubt one of the most successful games of the generation. With it’s constant improvement and excellent graphics, players find themselves getting more and more engaged with the game.
Interest in the game has become even more prevalent as WoTLK introduces the Death Knight character.
So what does having a death knight mean?
The Hero Class isn’t really that different from other classes with the exception of some factors that were included in the making of the DK. For one thing, only players ranking 55 and above can create the DK which places the character at level 55 upon being created.
Quest and Abilities of the Death Knight. The DK uses Runic Power for his abilities and is loyal to the Lich King.
Like most characters, he has six runes all subject to cooldown intervals.
Every time the DK uses a rune, the amount of Runic Power he has increases which he can then use for other abilities.
Initially, the quest would start with the Death Knight having 20 silvers and sporting a full green gear. Quest startsd at the Eastern Plagueland in what is called The Ebon Hold. This is where the ability called Runeforging will be acquired by the player in “The Emblazoned Runeblade” quest. Once a player harvest this ability, he has the power to forge a run on his weapons.
One of the reasons why the death knight is so popular is because they level up so quickly, reaching 57 without even leaving the Ebon Hold area.. Additionally, the characters gear will also change from green to an even cooler blue.
Like most classes, the DK boasts of three talent trees: Blood, Frost and Unholy.
In the same way, players have the option of mixing these talents together to get the abilities they want.
Being a new character, there are a lot of perks in being a DK, one of those is the fact that cool items are in store for players. One of its perks include the fact that the DK can choose from two-handed or one-handed from the roster of melee weapons. Unfortunately, the character doesn’t have a Shield option and only gets by with a powerful plate armor.
Death Knight Character Outline
For those playing WoW and are in the market for newer challenges, the DK is a great choice. It doesn’t take long to level up on the character, allowing you to find treasures and upgrade as much as possible. Since the DK starts off at level 55, this is also an advantage.
However, because of its newness, the Death Knight seems to be a common character choice. As a result, finding groups and raids just became harder.
